Mediterranean weather & Yorkshire hospitality - I can't imagine a better holiday. You couldn't have done more to facilitate a wonderful week - we feel tremendously sad to be leaving. Thanks for your many kindnesses. My 6 year old has loved all the activities in the region, never a bored moment for either of us!
NYM railway was picturesque and peaceful; Moors centre at Danby has an excellent play area, do-able walks (with a wheelchair) and great cake. Bunnyland good if you like bunnies, and not overpriced at 50p per child. Sailing out of Whitby Harbour a great favourite. Thanks for everything

Wonderful accommodation and position and marvellous weather. A great base to enjoy the beautiful little villages, coast and moors.

The whole family have thoroughly enjoyed everything - Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Saltburn, Staithes etc. etc. Many thanks for everything.

We have had a really great holiday and loved the cottage. Very peaceful & quiet, the boys loved playing in the garden, it is ideal with young children. We also enjoyed exploring the area and were really lucky with the weather. Loved the beaches, especially Runswick Bay, and the villages and really enjoyed our Fish and Chips in the Magpie Cafe. Thanks for providing a great place to stay.

Had a great time visiting Staithes, Whitby Scarborough and the beach at Sandsend. Flamingoland was a great day out for the children. - Could've spent a good couple of days there. Accommodation has been of the highest standard, with everything catered for. - Thanks

Had a great time. Accommodation was fantastic with everything we needed. It was great to have all the items for our baby provided too (saved packing it all!) Would certainly come back and tell others to visit.

One of our tenants wrote us this charming poem, so we had to include it here

The cottage is a credit to you and your good taste,
You wouldn’t want to leave it, well not in any haste.

You can sit out in the garden and gaze out at the view,
Or inside in cosy comfort and read a book or two.

The finishes here are excellent, so is the presentation,
The quality of the accessories was quite a revelation.

My family paid a visit and had to stay the night,
My eldest son was so impressed he’d buy the place outright!

The Jacuzzi bath is brilliant of that there is no doubt,
But you’d laugh to see an OAP getting in and out!

One of the dogs had an accident on the beach and hurt his ribs,
So we had to curtail our exploring so we could look after “his nibs”.

He simply wanted to sleep a lot, this did seem for the best,
So we took the opportunity to have a well earned rest.

The weather wasn’t too brilliant; it was good to stay “at home”,
This is when self catering comes into its own.

So spent lots of time in your cottage and its praises we can really sing,
We think we’d like to come back sometime in Summer or Spring!
